I couldn't wait any longer. This morning I decided to stand on the scale to see if I was indeed making progress, staying put, or gaining weight. Here's what I found:

I'm satisfied with that. My goal weight should be around 180. So I'm inching towards that at a decent pace. I do need to work on my body composition as well however. I think it would be wise to carry more lean body mass and less giggle. That will be another goal to strive for.
As a side-note, I'll be posting a column about natural remedies for female and male hair loss tonight. I know this is a pretty common issue so I thought it might be of interest for some of you or someone you know.
Update: I'm adding back the flax into my morning shake. I'm using a sprouted, organic, milled flax seed product.
9:30 am
+ a cup of organic coffee with a packet of organic stevia/inulin
12:15 pm
+ Wowee Zowee Protein Shake version 3.0 - 3 scoops of True Whey (natural vanilla whey protein), 1 scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Greens, 4 oz of purified water, 1 packet of organic stevia/inulin, 1 tbsp of organic sprouted flax seed and 1/4 tsp of Also Salt
+ 1 heaping tbsp of organic coconut oil
3:15 pm
+ a cup of organic coffee with a packet of organic stevia/inulin
3:45 pm
+ 3 small free-range turkey sausages
+ 2 small farmer's market tomatoes (one orange and one red), topped with raw sheep's milk cheese
6:00 pm
+ a cup of organic coffee with a packet of organic stevia/inulin
7:15 pm (pictured above)
+ 1 1/2 home cooked salmon fillets (with skin)
+ homemade mashed cauliflower
10:30 pm
+ a strong cup o' white tea (3 tea bags of organic white tea)
More to come ... I hope!

Hi
I just wanted to add that flaxseed doesn't have to be sprouted/soaked etc Sally Fallon herself said this, as flax doesn't have alot of pylates (unsure of spelling) in it. It is also best to grind flaxseed fresh (eg. in a little coffee grinder) as the pre-ground store bought packets are rancid.
Jack.
Thanks, Jo!
Almost there! Whee hooo! :-)
Thanks, Jack.
I agree that freshly grinding the flax seeds is best.
I've never tried the sprouted flax before. It was on sale at my local health food store and I've found a little difficulty digesting/"repeating" regular flax in the past. So, I thought I'd give it a shot.
I'm just testing it out. I'll report back as to whether I notice a difference.
I appreciate your input. Stop by anytime. :-)
Very cool, Harry! Keep going like you are and you reach your goal soon. Remember it is good for your last pounds to come off slow.
Yes, your salmon and mash does look very good.. the only problem I have is cauliflower is hard to come buy where I live.. only specialty stores have it.. :(
Stay the the course :) but more importantly have fun doing it :)
Congrats, awesome job! We need to see your new photos since you last updated it.
Thanks, LC!
I'm allowing my body to lose at it's own pace. I feel no urge to push things too quickly.
I wonder if there's a cauliflower alternative that might also work? If you have the chance, check out this link that offers other low-carb options:

Thanks again for the encouragement!
Thanks, Vadim!
I'll post a recent picture soon.
I hope you're feeling better! I'd/we'd love an update when you feel up to it.
Please take good care!
