My Low Carb Alternate Day Fasting Experiment - Day 18

The hunger is most noticeable when lying in bed at night trying to fall asleep. If sleep comes quickly, no problem. If it takes awhile, the stomach grumbles are more obvious. Drinking warm tea throughout the day helps. But you can't drink too much right before bed for obvious reasons.

Health Goals

10:45 AM - a cup of organic coffee w/ a scoop of FOS/inulin and unsweetened vanilla almond milk, a slice of homemade (organic) spinach feta egg bake, a spicy chicken sausage + my morning supplements

12:45 PM - a strong glass of organic white tea (3 tea bags)

2:10 PM - a cup of black coffee

5:10 PM - a bowl of organic cottage cheese w/ a Tbs of Nature's Hollow (sugar-free) strawberry preserves, a few ounces of raw (organic) walnuts + my mid-day supplements

Have you ever heard of P90X? Its extreamly popular program and so many people swear by it. I tried it once before and couldnt walk or do anything for a week. I also had other nasty symptoms probably from anxiety disorder so any additional stress producing adrenalin made my body panick. But hopefully one day I will be able to pick up where I left on that program. You are doing good my friend. I applaud you for your resolve and service. I always look forward to your blog entry or next article. Keep it up,those of us who are slackers need it!

Vadim,

I have heard of it. But I prefer tailor-fitting a work out on my own. That's what I'm doing now and it feels pretty great. Hard at times. But great. Especially now that my body is beginning to adjust to these new demands.

Thank you for your kind words, my friend. I wish you lived closer by. I'm sure we could figure out a routine that would work for you. It's out there. You just need to find it. I remain convinced of that.
