A commenter on my blog mentioned fasting a few days ago, and I found you while searching for more information today.

Are you doing this for weightloss, as well, or just for blood sugar?

Welcome, Katie.

I plan to lose a few more pounds. I started this alternate day fast at about 185 lbs and I'd like to reach 175 when it's all said and done.

I'm mainly doing it because I've immersed myself in researching the topic (of alternate day fasting) and I believe it's likely to be a healthy way to live. I also wanted to determine how sustainable I'd find it to be in the context of a rather busy life.

So far, I'm rather impressed on all counts.

So far, so good, eh?
In the Army, alot of the soldiers only ate once a day.
Now that's what I tend to do!
A modified version, perhaps.

Perhaps that makes us nutritional warriors? ;-)
