Breakfast for Dinner As an experiment, I attempted and succeeded in eating three real meals - no meal replacements today.
9:30 am + a shot of organic espresso
11:30 am+ 2 small organic tomatoes, sliced and topped with organic sour cream and raw
Val D'Aosta Fontina Alp 100 cheese
+ thick sliced, natural chipotle salami
3:15 pm+ "Santa Fe" (spicy) catfish fillet
+ 1/2 cup of homemade mashed cauliflower
4:45 pm+ a shot of organic espresso
7:30 pm (pictured above)+ scrambled
cheesy eggs - organic omega-3 eggs, crumbled feta cheese, a splash of DHA-enriched organic 2% milk, sea salt and fresh cracked organic pepper
+ several slices of natural bacon
+ 3/4 of organic avocado
More to come ... I hope!

I like how the food is always plated so artfully. I do that for other people but my own plate is usually all business and little care to how it looks.
Looks like your experiment turned out great. :)
Have a great Wednesday!
Thanks, Oct. :-)
My wife kids about my plating style. She notes that I tend toward a geometrical way of plating. It's funny because I was never very good at geometry! :-)
I'm usually more casual about the plating when I'm not snapping a photo of it for the blog.
Thanks, Jo. It turned out pretty well, I think.
I hope your Wednesday is a winner as well. :-)
I try to be artsy when I photog my food too, and when I prepare a plate for anyone else. normally, I just slop it on the plate and hope I make it to the table without tripping. :)
By the end of the day, how did you feel with 3 regular meals?
Also, How long has it been since you ate 3 regular meals?
It's probably been at least a few weeks since I ate 3 actual meals. I find the meal replacement shakes to be so convenient that it's hard to avoid them. I also think they provide good nutrition.
I do believe that eating actual "real" food does satisfy my hunger better. That's the biggest impression I got from yesterdays experiment. That makes sense to me too - being as though liquids tend to be processed more quickly than solids.
I know what you mean about not tripping. I'm a bit on the clumsy side myself. Let's just say we get a lot of new dishes and glasses around here. ;-)
