102nd天

Harry's Dinna!

I've had a heck of a time sleeping the past few nights. I'm not sure why. I would have thought the exercise should help. In any event, I decide to ride it out and not take any sleep aids. If I have the problem again tonight, I may take some chamomile - but I'll pass on the sleep meds.

Speaking of exercise. I'm heading off to the gym right now ...

I walked for 45 minutes and 45 seconds. I upped my incline from 1.5 to 2. I varied my speed from 3 to 3.3. The total distance equivalent was 2.36 miles. I also walked to and from the gym as my warm up and cool down.

Do you have worries on your mind? I know that has been plaguing me recently, but it's been great for prompting me to early starts to my workday (hence greater amount of work done and less stress resulting). Chamomile is very nice. You also might try some lavender scent next to your bed. I keep a bag of lavender bath beads at my desk at work. When I take those moments to breathe, I make sure to have the lavender right next to my nose. Works great for the meditation moments that you suggested. :)

Howdy, Oct.

I always have worries on my mind. Some times there are more than others. That's my unfortunate personality.

I'm not sure why this is happening now. Maybe I'm just not a very good judge of what is and is not truly bothering me.

We use the lavender essential oil, a few drops placed on a tissue - next to our pillows, just before bed.

I admire your positive attitude - about sleep, work and in general. :) It's something I'll try to use as an example.

Thanks!

Do you have trouble turning your brain off at night? That's my sleep issue, that and my inner voice won't shut up. :)

I like the lavender on the tissue idea, I was just thinking last night about how I miss the scent of lavender.

Off to the store in a bit to find some....

Good day, Sadekat.

I think that's part of the problem. I wish my head had more profound things to say - if it's going to keep me up!

I try to distract myself by watching some TV. Sometimes that works.

One day, I hope m sleep reflex will take hold naturally. That happens occasionally. I just lie down and the feeling takes over me. I turn to my side and I'm out, almost instantaneously. Then, on other nights ... I just don't get drowsy or can't get comfortable.

I hope the lavender works out well for you. I really like that scent. :)

Howdy, BayouBabe.

Today, I exercised in the morning.

I plan on doing more of that ... morning time exercise.

That is fantasic :) Also do you drink coffee in the afternoon ? It may be more FOOD or physical related than MENTAL.. if you know what I mean :)

I do have an afternoon coffee. But, that's been a constant in my life for years. The sleep pattern, on the other hand, is erratic.
