Cilla,

I personally don't worry about coconut milk at all. It's so low in sugar and so rich in healthy fat that I think it's got to be good for you. In fact, I wrote a little something about it in tonight's column on HealthyFellow.com.

I've never tried it in coffee though. But, from a health standpoint, I would imagine it's just fine. I'm a big coffee and coconut fan. :)

Harry, I noticed you put two scoops of Super Greens Chocolate in your shakes. I just ordered two cans of it. I recently noticed that I havent eaten nearly enouph salads lately. I eat mostly low carb but not enouph greens these days so I hope it will supplement me nicely. But I notices some people said in reviews that having two spoons gave them too much of hyper energy. Do you notice any significant difference between taking super greens or missing it? In other words, do you think it gives you a bit of a boost besides other healthy benefits?

Mr. V,

I've yet to find a natural supplement that gives me *too much* energy. :-)

My best advise would be to start off trying just one scoop. If you do well with that, then progress to two scoops.

My shakes often include coffee. Because of this, I'm just not certain how much of an added effect the greens are contributing.

I use two scoops for the added nutritional content and the taste (more chocolaty).

I'll have to try that out soon, Cilla! A fun and tasty experiment. I like those. :-)

The article can be found at this URL/location:

http://www.healthyfellow.com/300/healthy-alternatives/

It just briefly mentions coconut milk as an alternative to dairy. Hope you like it!

Don't tell that to my menu ... it might get a big head! :-)

Great menu. Those rolls have made me look forward to dinner! Salmon and cream cheese?

Hahaha great line, Anne h!

They were delicious! This time, my wife asked for them to be "sauce-free". Even better, LC-wise. :-)

Enjoy your dinner! I'll be by to see what you ended up having! :-)

Sounds delicious! Especially the turkey. :)

The turkey was really good. :) I think it was made by Applegate. My wife bought it at the deli counter.
