Cantaloupe Wrapped in Prosciutto

11:30 am


+ a large cup of organic coffee with organic heavy cream & organic stevia and psyllium fiber capsules (periodic "cleanse")

note: I think I'll go a little light on the food today and up my fluids and fiber. Fiber is a controversial topic in the LC community. I'm selectively "pro" fiber.

3:30 pm

+ a large cup of Choco Coffee - organic coffee, organic cocoa, organic heavy cream & organic stevia

7:30 pm (archive photo above)

+ organic cantaloupe slices wrapped in natural prosciutto with raw Mahon cheese

I don't "NEED" psyllium but LIKE it, and I use it. My doc said it was THE THING for acid reflux. It gives the acids a "target" and something to bind to.

I hear ya. It's the same for me. I don't need it but sometimes I just have the intuitive sense that a cleanse would do me good. It also allows me to take a break from eating a meal or two. I guess it's sort of like a modified fast.

Fiber is extreamly controversial, but whats not these days? My take on it is very simple- if it doesnt bother you then use it, but I would still advocate more natural source like brocoli which is loaded with other good nutrients. As always your menu looks yammy and frenchy like!

Hola, Vadim! I agree that food is the optimal source of fiber. Psyllium is basically nutrition-free but an excellent bulking substance that cleans out the system.

I'll got some broccoli in my near future. :-) Can't wait to see your Vidcasts! It's quite a time we live in!
