The Day Called 87

My Mid-Day Feast!

Steppin' on the Scale Day. The verdict: I'm down about 2 1/2 pounds. That's about the same amount as last week. This may be a clue that my daily glass of wine was slowing my loss. I think it's too soon to tell though because there were weeks when I lost even more weight than this while drinking wine.

The experiment continues!

8:45 am

+ a cup of instant coffee with a few ounces of low-fat milk and a pinch of pure stevia

10:15 am

+ The Wowee Zowee Meal Replacement Shake - 2 oz of organic heavy cream, 4 oz of purified water, 2 scoops of natural vanilla whey protein powder, 2 tbs of organic flax meal, 1 scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Green SuperFood, a pinch of pure stevia, and 1/4 tsp of Also Salt)

1:45 pm

+ 1 organic Roma tomato, sliced and topped with organic sour cream and raw sheep's milk cheese (Idiazabal)

+ a small organic avocado, quartered

+ several thick slices of Chorizo salami

Note: Some of the salami didn't make it on to my plate. It made it into my mouth first. :-)

5:15 pm

+ a cup of instant coffee with a few ounces of organic low-fat milk and a pinch of pure stevia

8:30 pm

+ The Wowee Zowee Meal Replacement Shake - 4 oz of organic heavy cream, 2 oz of purified water, 2 scoops of natural vanilla whey protein powder, 1 scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Green SuperFood, a pinch of pure stevia, and 1/4 tsp of Also Salt)

+ a cup of organic whole milk yogurt

Note: I didn't feel like making or eating dinner tonight. Instead, I just made a more substantial version of my WZ meal replacement shake - by adding more cream. I also finished a container of yogurt that needed finishing. An odd meal. But it was pretty nutritious.

More to come ... I hope!

WTG!!!!

Are other people noticing the lose?

Harry/JP said...

Thanks, Jo. :)

Yes, I'm getting a few comments here and there.

My wife, family and my clothes notice my loss the most. :) I had to have extra notches added to my belt! My pants were making a run for it!

I've been mostly working out of the house for the past few months. So, my old work mates haven't seen much of me lately.

I've still got a ways to go. I don't have an exact figure but I'm guessimating that I should be around 180-190.

I had a comment a neighbor asked if I had my 'stomach stapled' because of my 30 pound weight loss. I politely said "NO", I joined a gym.

:P

I can't type or can't spell, either way I guess you knew what I meant LOL

It will be great for you to see your work mates and have them notice.

Your still losing great for being so close to goal. That's awesome. My Hubby is slowing down. He is still at 210 but he is 6'3". So he is pretty close to goal as well. He is thinking around 190, but he is all legs...LOL

Thanks for all your support over at my blog, it means a lot.

Did your neighbor ask you what a gym was? ;)

It's getting that bad these days, BayouBabe!

That reminds me, I need to get myself to the gym! :)

Hey, your husband's doing great! Nice to hear.

I hope my weight loss will continue 'til I reach my goal. We shall see.

Thank you for your encouragement too, Jo. It is much appreciated. :)

slow but steady is the safest way to do it. Keep up the good work :)

Thanks, Low Carber. :)

That's my plan. The "tortoise approach". :)

I guess they see me coming and going. Yesterday, was the first day I wore and exercise skirt out in 40 degree weather, had my coat on , but it gavea clue :) Hey I was just happy for the compliment :)

Harry/JP said...

Heck ya! Compliments are a nice perk. :)

Keep up the good work, BayouBabe.

Hiya Harry, I dearly love your food photos. Very artistic!

Harry/JP said...

Thanks, Sadekat.

I'm often too impatient to really display the food too artistically. But I try to find a balance between my hunger/impatience and my hope to present something that looks half-way decent. :)
