+ a cup of instant coffee with a few ounces of low-fat milk and a pinch of pure stevia
12:45 pm (pictured above)
+ one small piece of smoked salmon and a cherry tomato
+ 1 1/2 lamb hamburgers (w/o bread) topped with with a harissa sauce and arugula leaves
3:00 pm
+ a cup of instant coffee with a few ounces of heavy cream and a 2 stevia tabs
6:15 pm
+ a cup of instant coffee with a few ounces of low-fat milk and a pinch of pure stevia
8:00 pm
+ poached salmon (store bought)
+ 1/2 cup homemade mashed cauliflower

Happy Birthday.A little late. Husband loved the poppers. Coming from Kansas to California in April. Palm Springs, then west to the coast, want to drive the coast and only have a couple of days to do so. Do i go north or south. which is best as far as beaches and scenery?

The beach and scenery answer is subjective, of course. But if you go south, many people love the Carlsbad and San Diego area.
Going northbound, a few beautiful stops would include Santa Barbara and Catalina Island.
The good news is that you'll likely find pleasant weather in either direction (at that time of the year). The further south you go ... the warmer it will be.
The drive along the coast is a beautiful one. I think you'll have a memorable experience.
