Harry, your avocado pictures have gotten to me, I am on an avocado kick now.

Also, just curious, do you know when your interview with Jimmy is going to air?

It was a great game, wasnt it? I am a big Giant teaqm, but steelers I like too. I had mixed feelings, the game was great, i felt bad for Kurt Warner. He is a good guy and waht a story about him and his 8 kids, 3 of whom are his wife and one of who is pareplegic. I wanted them to go to the overtime, sepecially sicne there was none in history. Oh well!

Howdy, Sadekat.

Great! Avocados are very healthy for you! :)

My interview with Jimmy is scheduled to be posted on April the 6th.

It was a really fantastic game. Exciting and memorable.

Actually, before the game even started I decided to be okay with the Cardinals winning. I wanted the Steelers to be victorious, of course. But, if they weren't, I would have found peace with it pretty quickly.

My wife is a BIG Giants fan. Last year was hers to celebrate. This year is mine. But honestly, when the Giants win ... we celebrate together. Same goes with the Steelers. :)

Kurt played a pretty solid game. He can hold his head up high. I'm thankful for that much.

And whats up with those snacks? How do you make them sooooooo visibly incredibly apealing. I guess when you are on a mission to get healthy and live low carb, its a matter of just a bit of planning and creativity. Greqat job on menues!

Thanks, Vadim. :)

My lovely wife gets credit for this one, as she did the cooking. Well, I guess I get a little credit too - I did the shopping. The eating was also a team effort!

We actually saw a more elaborate version of this on the Food Network. Then I shared the recipe with Oct. She made these Jalapeno Poppers for her pinata party (last week) and they were a smashing success.

That inspired us to make them for our own little (two person) Super Bowl bash.

I'm looking forward to your return, my amigo. Until then, I'm happy to have you drop by over here. :)

Hope your day is a winning one.

Oooh, you made stuffed jalapenos too! And they look very delicious. We'll definitely be making that recipe again. Yay superbowl, boo I didn't win the pool ... but it was fun trying.

Hey Harry,
I'm glad your Steelers won!
We watched for the commercials. Hubby liked the one with Mr. & Mrs. potato head and I liked the one with the horse playing fetch.

Your Poppers looked so gooooood. Nice photos.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks, Oct!

Once I read that your Jalapeno Poppers turned out so well ... I just had to make a version too. :)

Our version was simpler because I didn't have the whole recipe with me when I went shopping. So, we improvised a bit. I think this is the sort of recipe that lends itself well to experimentation.

Thanks for your encouragement, Jo. :)

The Mr. Potato Head spot was funny! And we love horses. So, I think we enjoyed many of the same commercials.

Do you have a written recipe for the Jalapeno Poppers ? They look wonderful. I have a recipe for mushrooms that i make that everyone seems to like. I'll post it on my blog.

Howdy, Caroline.

I'm going to make the Jalapeno Poppers again today. I'll post my (kinda sorta) exact recipe in today's blog. :)

In the meantime, here's the inspiration that started off my jalapeno experimentation:
