Jour 88

Petrale Sole and Mashed Cauliflower

The food shall speak for me today. At least that's what we agreed on.

10:15 am

+ The Wowee Zowee Meal Replacement Shake - 3 oz of organic heavy cream, 3 oz of purified water, 2 scoops of natural vanilla whey protein powder, 2 tbs of organic flax meal, 1 teaspoon of organic instant coffee, 1 scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Green SuperFood, a pinch of pure stevia, and 1/4 tsp of Also Salt)

3:00 pm

+ 2 grilled chicken thighs

+ an organic avocado

7:30 pm

+ 2 thin fillets of petrale sole topped with Italian herbs and sauteed in a mixture of organic butter and organic olive oil. I then covered the fish in a reduced sauce made of white wine, lemon juice, organc butter, "pan bits" (the bits left behind after cooking the fish in the pan) and a little sea salt.

+ 1/2 cup of mashed cauliflower

re: the fish

It was pretty tasty. More importantly, my wife gave me the "thumbs up" on it. That's the true test. :)

I'm not much of a salad eater. But I figure that I got plenty of cauliflower in the mash.

My meal replacement shake contains quite a bit of "greens" in it. Hopefully that counts. :)
