What brand of natural vanilla egg white protein do you use? I'm nearly out of my Whey-to-Go protein powder and need to go by the whole foods grocery soon.

The best tasting egg white protein I've ever tasted is by a brand called MRM. Simple ingredients and sugar free. I've only tried the vanilla flavor though.

I first purchased it a WF but then found it for half the price online. Just FYI. :-)

I found a non-flavoured one at Netrition.com.
It is medical grade, so they say. Nectar brand by Syntrax the company.
Good in coffee cus it doesn't add the sweet taste!

Is it pretty mild in flavor, Anne?

My trouble with some egg based proteins is that they taste rather harsh ... kind of salty and hard to mask. Even really high quality brands such as Jay Robb don't appeal to me.

Hey Harry, what happened to the chocolate super greens by amazing grass? I havent seen you use them for a while. And where do you buy your organic full fat coconut milk? I can only find a watered down version at trader joe. i like it though.

Mr. V! So good to see you! :-)

I still love the chocolate greens but I've had to cut back a bit on my supplement budget. :( That's like taking away a kid's toys for me! Doh!

Also, my new multivitamin has some concentrated greens in it. Hopefully that will do.

I use the Whole Foods Market brand of organic coconut milk. It's about $1 per can. Simple ingredients, nice taste and it has a pleasant consistency (the fat doesn't separate too much).

Looking forward to your return or at least your visits. You're missed, my friend. We're are hoping and praying for the best for you and yours.

sorry - it is whey!
my bad!

Aha! Unflavored whey is a completely different animal. It's pretty mild tasting all by itself.

I guess eggs whites are more temperamental. Maybe it's the chickens way of "sticking it to the man". Hmmm.
