I still find it odd to hear "raw cheese" or "raw milk". I understand it, but only recently. :)
Yeah. I can understand that.
I used to drink raw milk too. Now, the carbs make it a bit out of my league. I'd love to use raw cream but it's about 4x the price around here.
Some people hope to become rich so that they can afford to buy fancy cars, clothers and big houses. I'd rather use that money to buy healthier food, make moview and fund honest medical studies (along with all the other essentials - like taking care/spoiling my wife, family, friends ... the more obvious stuff). :-)
Just checkin in on one of my all time favorites. I hope you and yours have a great weekend. And thanks for all your comments on my blog as well.
Thanks, Anne. :-)
Back at ya! Have some fun and feel proud of all you're accomplishing!
How do you make your creamed spinach it is making my mouth water :o)
It's super simple to make - like pretty much all of my recipes.
1. Defrost a bag or two of organic, frozen spinach.
2. Saute some garlic, onions or shallots in a pot with some olive oil or butter (or both).
3. Add the defrosted spinach and allow it to cook through with the sauteed goodies. Salt and pepper to taste.
4. Once it's almost done cooking, add a few ounces of organic heavy cream and some organic cream cheese. Allow the ingredients to melt together nicely - stir frequently.
5. Add a handful of shredded Italian cheese blend to the top of the spinach. Turn off the flame and place the lid on the pot. Allow the residual heat and steam to melt the cheese. Fold the cheese into the mixture and you're ready to serve!
These ingredients can obviously be placed with. For instance, if you'd like a lighter version, you could use chicken broth instead of heavy cream, etc.
If you give the recipe a shot, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! :-)
Thanks so much Harry, you're a top bloke! Cheers.
No problem! Enjoy! :-)
