Dinner - Bison Burger and Spicy Guacamole

Note: I haven't been in the best frame of mind lately, folks. I'm sorry I've been behind on the menu blogging and my comments on your blogs. Tomorrow's another day. A better one, I hope.

I've been doing a modified liquid diet and cleanse for the passed few days. That is, until dinner tonight. 

I'm reevaluating my program at the moment and am looking to make some minor changes soon. More on that once I figure out exactly what I'm doing.

One change I have decided on is that I'll be measuring my weight on a monthly basis from this point forth. I suspect I'm continuing to lose weight or fat because my pants and shorts continue to feel looser. But I'm also sure I'm slowing down as I approach my goal. So I just want to get the numbers out of my mind for awhile. 

In a month we'll see where I'm at. I'm hoping to break the 190 benchmark by my next weigh-in.

9:30 am

+ a large cup of organic coffee with a few ounces organic heavy cream

+ psyllium husk capsules - as part of a periodic cleanse

12:00 pm

Wowee Zowee Protein Shake version 3.0 - 3 scoops of True Whey (natural vanilla whey protein), 1 scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Greens, 4 oz of purified water, 1/4 tsp of Also Salt

1 heaping tbsp of organic coconut oil 

4:30 pm 

Wowee Zowee Protein Shake version 3.0 - 3 scoops of True Whey (natural vanilla whey protein), 1 scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Greens, 4 oz of purified water, 1 tsp. of organic instant coffee, 1/4 tsp of Also Salt

1 heaping tbsp of organic coconut oil 

7:00 pm

+ a bison burger with a side of spicy guacamole

Harry that is a good idea. When I get all my weight off I am going to Hawaii for a detox.. one week of enemas...haha but it i really suppose to help get you cleaned out then I will be back on the LC wagon but I hope to do that once a year..

Monthly, weigh in is good I think to much stress...every week..

Hang in there and take yur time..everyone needs private time and "ME" time :)

Hi Harry! I have been sick since Saturday, as a matter of fact even went to ER. My heart rate was racing so fast that i couldnt walk half a block. And then I developed irregular heart beat. But I feel better today. My stomack was bloated to a point that i couldnt breath and I couldnt eat anything. I think may be I am too acidic from ketosis. i started adding carbs back a bit to seeif it helps. I think you should indeed weight yourself once a month only. it is very wise decision as you will eliminate stress accompanyed by loosing a pound a week. if you loose 5 pounds a month it is much better thant loosing 1 pound a week, same result but better less stress. you are doing amazingly well and stall is expected when you are nearing goal, plus you have been exercising so you might gain a bit muscle tissue. Hang in there my friend!

Sorry to hear youre not feeling your best. Probably a good idea to shake things up a bit and see where the chips fall to get a better perspective on where you are going with this way of eating for life. Best of luck with the new plan...whatever that ends up being!!!

I'm so sorry to hear you haven't been in a good place. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I've been going through something similar. I feel better today hope you do too.

Just a quick question.
Why are you changing up what you were doing when it was working so well? Did I miss something? I thought you were doing great. Please don't think I'm criticizing here just curious. :) (((HUGS))))

I'm so sorry to hear of your medical troubles!

Do the docs have any idea about what may be causing your heart issues?

Please take good care of yourself. Try to choose wisely when adding back some carbs. Get the greatest nutritional bang for your carb buck!

The reason I'm going to try to shake things up is to see if I can kick start my weight loss - I've been slowing down lately.

The virtual liquid diet for the past few days was mainly because I didn't have the energy/will to prepare or eat regular meals. I just needed a break.

I'm happy to hear that you're doing better today. :-) I felt better than yesterday. That's a start.
