Dag Drieëntwintig

This is the DVD that I'm experimenting with.

I tried to expand my horizons a bit today. To do so, I popped in an exercise DVD that contained a guided Chi-Gong session. It was interesting. I was left with two impressions after my session was complete.

#1 - I'm glad no one was here to see me perform these moves. I can only imagine how ridiculous I looked. Whatever the opposite of graceful is ... that's what I was.

#2 - I think Chi-Gong is Chinese for, "Let's confuse and torment the white man".

Having said all that ... I think I'll keep at the Chi Gong. If nothing else, it's got to be character building. Right?


Sunday - December 14, 2008

10:30 am

+ one cup of "choco-coffee" - (two tablespoons of pure cocoa powder, one teaspoon of instant coffee, one packet of stevia + FOS and one packet of Also Salt)

+ one tablespoon of coconut oil - (by the spoon!)

11:45 am

+ a vanilla whey protein shake - (two scoops of natural vanilla whey protein powder, 2 oz of heavy cream, 2 oz of half-and-half, one packet of stevia + FOS and one packet of Also Salt)

2:15 pm

+ homemade vegetable soup - (homemade ultra-fatty beef stock and broccoli florets - blended together to make a thick, creamy, hearty soup)

+ 5 small pork sausage links

4:45 pm

+ one cup of "choco-coffee" - (two tablespoons of pure cocoa powder, one teaspoon of instant coffee, one packet of stevia + FOS and one packet of Also Salt)

+ psyllium fiber (periodic cleanse)

5:30 pm (picture to come)

+ a DVD guided "Chi-Gong" session (about 20 minutes worth) and another 15 minutes of other guided exercises/torture

8:45 pm

+ homemade "tuna salad" - (tuna packed in olive oil, sour cream, grilled onions and horseradish mustard)

11:15 pm

+ 5 slices of prosciutto

+ a glass of red wine

Harry, I had some sausage patti links myself today, Jimmy Dean came to the rescue to revitalize me.. I just couldn't put up with a SALAD any more !!

Harry, whats your goal weight again? I know you told me once, but it escaped me. You weigh 230 pounds at 5'11 is that right? Are you doing any kind of exercise, weight training?

Hallo, Vadim. I think my goal weight is probably somewhere around 180 - 190.

I'm about 230 lbs and around 5'11.

Exercise-wise, I've been pretty sporadic. I should be doing more. I do occasionally walk on a treadmill. I pump my arms to get a better workout and in order to look even more ridiculous than I otherwise would. :)

I did some Chi-Gong earlier today. I recently got a DVD that provides some guided instruction on how to do that. I thought it might be good for relieving some stress.

I don't currently do any weight training. I did some a long time ago. But, not much in recent years.

Harry, you should have seen the way I looked when my ex-girlfriend made me practice some of the camasutra youga or whatever else its called. It was supposed to spice it up bedroom majic and make us bond closer. Let me tell you something, your experience with Tai Ching or whatever its called was child's game compared to mine. I did bind that night, alright, but it was my head bonding hard with the headrest of my bed. And that bonding still hurts, forget about how I looked. And unfrotunately i wasnt alone! so it could always be worst my friend! I should do a post on that memory, it was actually very funny! Thanks God I am still able to bend after that experince!
