We had a beautiful visitor this fine Sunday afternoon. We took a picture of him so you could all share in her or his beauty.

This is a type of bird called a Heron. Neighbors come and go but the herons remain.

Hey Harry,
Cool Picture. How did you ever spot him up there? LOL I love days like that.

I love 'em too, NewVision. :)

That humongous tree is part of our view. The Herons frequently perch there.

But, this time we saw him at the tippy-top of the tree and I thought it would be cool to snap a digi-photo and share it with y'all.

Don't herons make the coolest sounds? We have 'em here in FL, too and I love it when they fly en masse over the house.

Menu looks good but you add Also Salt to your shake???

Howdy, Solshine.

Yes, Herons do indeed make the coolest sounds. At night, it makes me feel like I'm much further away from civilization than I really am! :)

I just started experimenting with adding the AlsoSalt to my shakes. The reason why is two-fold:

1. It adds some much needed potassium to my diet. The lysine is a nice touch too.

2. It actually makes the shake taste better! Many sweet items have some added salt. My protein powder and the half-and-half are salt-free. So, the added kick of the Also-Salt is actually quite pleasing.
