Ημέρα 13

Chris Elliot in the cult classic, Cabin Boy.

Thursday is my weigh-in day. And on every Thursday, I walk the path to myTanita body weight and body fat scale much like a fancy lad walks the plank of a pirate ship.

Well, much like a fancy lad that's lost almost four pounds and nearly 2% of his body fat - in a week's time!

Not bad, eh? I'm keeping it all in proper perspective, but I do believe this is something to be thankful for.

We'll know more about where I'm really at next week, I suppose. I'll be here. I hope you will be too.

Current Body Weight: 231.8 lbs.

Body Fat %: 37%

Previous Body Weight: 235.6

Previous Body Fat %: 38.9

Thanks to you both, Solshine and Sadekat!

That's the first time I've tried making that lunch. I really liked it too.

I'm trying to broaden my horizons when it comes to my low carb selections. The quest continues!

Thanks again for your support. It's very much appreciated!

I'll tell you what I "learned" about the vanilla whey protein lol.. I purchased a HUGE jar of it at Wal-Mart and half of the jar was filled with AIR>.. go figure. That stuff is like liquild gold.

Congrats on your weight loss :)

Thanks for the link for Linda's Low Carb Menu site ! I've added both of yall to my blog site :)

Howdy, Bayoubabe. Thank you for dropping by.

Linda Sue really is a wizard in the kitchen. Her site is fantastic.

I think the whey protein mystery comes down to this: all protein powders are sold by weight, not volume.

So, the trick is to study the label to see just how many servings you're actually going to get.

Also, you can often save a bundle by shopping online. I buy almost all our supplements and protein powders online.

Thanks for adding my menu blog to your site!

Take care!

Your fat removal for the week is awesome, Harry! And your steak looks delish. One of my favorite meals also. Yum. What time is dinner?

Congratulations, Harry! You mentioned feeling scared when life gets better-me too! But I think we should smile and enjoy the happiness even though that little crazy feeling is there also.

That food looks wonderful. Made me smile too thinking about how a nutritionist would say your plate should be covered in veggies and a tiny bit of meat on the side! I disagree with them.

Good Job! Enjoy the happiness and success! I too have to deal with that little scary, wary feeling when things are going well.

Almost 4 pounds is AWESOME!!!
Doesn't that just put you on cloud 9 knowing what your doing is working well for you?
Great pictures too, I want to come to your house for lunch. (have you seen my lunch selections lately ... yea, not nearly as pretty as yours..LOL)
WAY TO GO! your doing great!

Thank you so much for all your kind words, Sybil, Lynn and NewVision.

It feels really good to feel propped up by all your supportive comments.

Nice way to start the day. :-)

Wow! I drink Choco-coffee, too! Except I use freshly ground organic coffee and raw organic cocoa.

Yummy!

Howdy, Raeweb.

You've made a very smart beverage selection, I see. ;-)

Your version of choco-coffee probably tastes better then mine - freshly ground and brewed coffee and all. I'm jealous!

I use an organic instant coffee (Mount Hagen) and the Now Foods brand of organic cocoa powder - but I don't think it's raw.

Do you add anything else to your CC mix? I'm always looking for new tricks of the trade!

Thanks, Erika!

I'm going to keep on keeping on and hope that the results continue.

Time will tell. It almost always does.
