Avocado Frozen Yogurt Heads Up

"Custardy" & "Lemony" LC Avocado Frozen Yogurt

A new (and admittedly strange sounding) new low carb recipe: Avocado Frozen Yogurt. That said, we think it tastes great. The nutrition rocks as well. I'll post the details on the Tuesday edition of Healthy Fellow and will provide a link here. Until then ... an image will have to do. :-)

I've always wanted to try avocado ice cream.DId you make it yourself?

Sure did. Most importantly, both of us really liked it. And that's saying something because Mad usually doesn't care for the taste of stevia. She was somewhat skeptical about the recipe concept and ingredients. But, I won her over after she tasted it! :-)

The directions and exact ingredients can be found here:

It's pretty simple to make - with or without an ice cream maker.

BTW, the yogurt taste is rather mild. I guess the avocados and lemon juice and zest take the lead in the taste department.
