Oven Baked Chicken and LC Mash

I got a good night's sleep. Feeling much better today.

11:00 am

+ a cup of organic, black coffee

1:00 pm

+ LC Mocha Ice & Cream Shake - 3 ice cubes, a few ounces of organic heavy cream and 4-6 oz of purified water, 2 scoops of Amazing Grass Chocolate Greens, 1 scoop of Jarrow Unflavored Whey Protein, 1 scoop of organic sprouted flax meal, 1 tsp of organic instant coffee, a splash of organic vanilla extract, stevia and Also Salt - blended up using my handy-dandy immersion blender

5:00 pm

+ organic cantaloupe slices wrapped in natural prosciutto

Early, early start this morning - by my standards, at least. 5:30 wake up call. It's 6:30 now and I'm surprisingly chipper. Let's just hope I don't walk into any walls before the morning's over. :-)

6:15 am

+ a cup of organic, black coffee

10:00 am

8:30 pm

+ Clean Up Time Dinner - leftover oven grilled chicken, Whole Foods' pork al pastor and mashed cauliflower

Black, Red and Blue

Rocky, rocky sleep last night. I'm determined to make the rest of the day better.

Update: We "discovered" a really delicious find at Whole Foods Market the other day. I know some of you shop at that chain in your neck o' the woods and I thought you might like to know about it ... if you don't already.

In the fresh meat section there is something called Blue Cheese Turkey Burgers. I believe the only two ingredients are ground dark meat turkey and crumbled blue cheese. They were very, very moist and flavorful. We doctored them up a bit but I'm sure they'd be quite tasty no matter how they're made. :-)

12:00 pm

+ 1 1/2 sliced organic tomatoes

+ a handful of Napa Valley black olives (a gift from Dad and Mom - from their most recent vacation)

A Wowee Zowee 4th of July

We didn't fall asleep until after 6:00 am this morning! Note my 5:00 am snack "last night".

Now we're off to a July 4th BBQ. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find some good LC options there. But just in case, I'm not going there on an empty stomach. I'll be fine either way.

I hope you're all having a fun and/or relaxing day and that you're sharing today with people who you care about and who care about you.

2:00 pm

note: What a perfect LC meal! Our friend's father was in charge of the grill and he is an absolute master of the craft! Delicious! The company couldn't have been any better either. Lovely, lovely people indeed.

We squeezed in some tennis play this morning. What a fun way to get the body in motion. The good news is ... we didn't lose a ball today! That's got to be a good sign.
