Another late start to my day. I'm working from home today and that tends to push my wake-up and go-to-sleep times upward. Tomorrow, I'll be back at the office and will therefore start and end my day earlier.
I think I'll begin adding a record of my weight later this week. My plan will be to weigh-in once a week.

Nice combination of food . I am enjoying your menus!
Thanks, Vadim.
I'm giving it my best shot.
So far, it's kind of fun. :-)
Harry, how much calories is in those few tablespoons of cacao? And how many carbs? I might use them in my protein shake to make it a bit creamy and thick!
Vadim,
I'm not sure. The serving size is described as 1/4 cup.
The nutritional facts can be found here:
http://www.nowfoods.com/index.php?action=itemdetail&item_id=74399
One of my weak points is not wanting to get too involved with specific amounts - be they calories or serving sizes, etc.
I try to look at the overall picture. I know that the Now Foods Organic Cocoa provides 11.5 grams of carbs per 1/4 cup serving. Of those total carbs, 6.5 are fiber.
So, 1/4 cup would provide approx. 5 grams of "effective carbs". And, I know that I'm probably using less than 1/4 cup - based on my "eyeball estimate".
Therefore, I figure I'm alright as long as I don't add a bunch of additional carbs to the mix.
I don't know if that makes any sense to you. But, in my crazy cranium, it seems reasonable. :-)
If you try it, I hope you like it. Please note that it's powerful stuff! It REALLY tastes like chocolate!
Over and out!
Hi Harry,
I think we've got the same crazy cranium then! I follow more of a food group mindset rather than calories or portions.
Keep up the good work!
I get you totally!
